We are dedicated to the manufacture and design of low voltage electrical enclosures and offer a wide range of complete electrical engineering solutions. In addition, we provide maintenance and repair services for electrical motors and other electrical equipment to ensure their smooth and efficient operation.

IMS Solutions OÜ’s core business is in the fields of power engineering and automation, and we provide high quality solutions for low and medium voltage electrification projects. Our product range includes a variety of electrical distribution switchboards made to the needs of the domestic market. In addition, we carry out repairs on electrical motors, restoring them to full working order if necessary.

Product development of hybrid-powered packaged substations

Project summary

The project will result in a new product – a compact hybrid-powered packaged substation, a “plug-in” battery storage and power distribution unit that combines a battery storage system, a connection point (for low and medium voltage) and all the necessary control and safety systems (RTU, SCADA, smoke detectors, communications, alarms, cooling data), while taking into account current exchange prices and market energy demand.

Objective

The project helps reduce net greenhouse gas emissions, as the solution being developed supports the integration of renewable energy and improves energy efficiency. The new “plug-in” battery storage and power distribution unit makes it possible to store solar and wind energy and to manage its use on the frequency market, reducing the need for electricity generation based on fossil fuels.

Result

A market-ready hybrid-powered packaged substation that IMS Solutions OÜ will add to its product range.

Project summary

The project introduces new production equipment: a sheet metal working press, a wire processing line, a bar material bending and hole-punching machine, and a renewable energy battery storage system.

Objective

To reduce material and energy consumption and to improve resource use in the manufacture of electrical equipment.

Result

More efficient production processes, less material waste and a smaller environmental impact per unit of output.
